



The Regulated Substances Authority (RSA), established by the Regulated Substances Act No. 26 of 2023 as a government initiative, oversees the regulation of various substances in Saint Lucia.

Cannabis
The Cannabis Licence authorizes activities involving the cultivation, processing, distribution, retail, research, or export of cannabis and industrial hemp.


Radioactive Substances and Radiation-Emitting Devices
Authorization to use, store, transport, or dispose of radiation-emitting materials and equipment.


Alcohol
The Alcohol Licence regulates the production, importation, distribution, and sale of alcoholic beverages.


Explosives (Fireworks and Annumition)
The Explosives Licence authorizes the importation, storage, transportation, sale, and use of explosive materials in Saint Lucia.


Hydrocarbons (Petroleum)
Licensing for the importation, storage, handling, and distribution of petroleum products.


Mushrooms (Psilocybin)
Licensing for the cultivation, handling, research, importation, and distribution of controlled mushroom substances.


Pesticides, Toxic and Hazardous Substances
Licensing for the importation, sale, application, or distribution of regulated pesticides.
