The Cannabis Licence authorizes activities involving the cultivation, processing, distribution, retail, research, or export of cannabis and industrial hemp, in accordance with the Cannabis and Industrial Hemp Bill and accompanying regulations. This licence framework is designed to balance public health, financial viability, and social equity priorities while supporting the safe development of Saint Lucia’s cannabis industry. Applicants must comply with security, traceability, product-quality, and operational standards set by the RSA.


Alcohol

Pesticides
In ProgressThis license authorizes the regulated importation, manufacture, distribution, sale, or application of pesticide products in Saint Lucia. License holders must ensure safe handling, labeling, storage, and application practices in line with environmental, agricultural, and public health standards. Compliance includes training requirements, product registration, usage reporting, and measures to prevent environmental harm or human exposure, under the supervision of the Regulated Substances Abuse Authority.


Mushrooms
In ProgressThis license authorizes the regulated cultivation, possession, research, importation, exportation, and distribution of controlled or psychoactive mushroom substances in accordance with the laws of Saint Lucia. License holders must comply with strict safety, storage, record-keeping, and reporting requirements to prevent misuse, diversion, or abuse. Activities are subject to inspection, monitoring, and ongoing compliance with public health, security, and ethical research standards as prescribed by the Regulated Substances Abuse Authority.


Radiation
In ProgressThis license permits the controlled use, possession, storage, transport, and disposal of radioactive or ionizing radiation sources, including medical, industrial, and research applications. Licensees must implement approved radiation safety programs, ensure trained personnel, and adhere to national and international radiation protection standards. Continuous monitoring, reporting, and emergency preparedness are mandatory to safeguard public health, workers, and the environment under the oversight of the Regulated Substances Abuse Authority.
